Crepper!!!!!!!

I am once again writing you the day after because last night, I was a little to tired to care lol...

But last night after play practice... Gerrit, Sandra, and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  We all enjoyed the food that we got and decided to head back into Brandon.  As we were pulling out of the parking lot, Gerrit decided to change lanes, unaware that there was a motorcycle behind him in that lane.  Now he didn't cut him off totally, yes it was a little rude, but the motorcycle still had plenty of room.... As we turned out of the lot, the guy on the motorcycle stayed behind us, which sometimes happens, people have places to go and sometimes they are follow the lines where you are going...  Except most of the time, they don't switch lanes every time you do.... SO THIS GUY WAS FOLLOWING US!!! LIKE LITERALLY! We got on 229 N and he was still behind us, we got off on the 10th street exit, and he followed us... so we were thinking we were just paranoid... so we decided we would take a sharp turn onto this random street before Austeds(?sp), be he continued on... except he turned on the next street which is by Arbys, and continued back towards us... so we pulled back onto 10th as fast as we could and the guy FLIPPIN WENT OFF THE CURB TO CATCH US... luckily he was stopped at a stop light...... Gerrit drove as fast as he could over the hill past HyVee and we took a VERY sharp turn into a housing development... and he lost us... THANK GOD!!!! Seriously, I was worried a little bit! But it was something that we could all talk about lol....

PS: I think that it is sweet how you can change the color!!! PAHAHAHA I am so entertained by the little things in life!

Marching Lynx... How I will miss you!

Well last night I was way too tired to post anything... and even though it is 1:00 in the morning, I am in desperate need to put this on!  AAAAHHHHH I AM GOING TO MISS MARCHING BAND SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! The day started out great, woke up around 8:30 went to Bagel Boy, and then we made our way to USD.  We were all excited for our day, but also ready to finish off the season!  We got to Vermillion and immediately got off the busses to eat... (My final band Lunch: [ ) After a quick lunch, we needed to get dressed and load the busses to get to our practice area!  Once we got to the warm up area, we noticed the clouds were a little gloomy but, we decided to ignore it and continue on with our day.  But what we didn't expect was for the clouds to open and unleash an ocean on us!!! We were literally soaked from head to toe.  But finally after our busses came back and we loaded up... It stopped... (Just our luck)  Then we marched down the ramp and into the stadium.  Knowing that this was my last time on the field was upsetting... but we managed to get through the show... It wasn't amazing by any means.. but we did a nice job.  At USD we saw our dear commander friends from Brookings, Amy, Miranda, and Even!!! Goodness I love them!  After our quick greet with our besties... the commanders got on the field one last time for awards... The Brandon Valley Marching Lynx placed 2nd.. which was good... and I was ok with...

Immediately after the performance, we loaded the busses, changed, and started on our long journey to Orange City.  THANK GOD IT WAS NOT AS COLD AS LAST YEAR!!!  We had no time to waste... we got uniforms on... had a very quick warm up, and made our way to the field for our last performance of our 2010 show "Checkmate".  I will say with my entire heart that that performance... was my favorite of all the years combined!!!!  It was AMAZING!!!  Now, I am not a person who cries.  But during warm ups, I teared up a little bit, giving hugs to all the seniors, then underclass men, then (especially then) to my fluties!!!  I love them so much!!  After the show, once again, I told myself that I wasn't going to cry, and everything was going just fine, until Mr. Kessler came up to me and gave me the biggest bear hug ever!!!  OMGOSH I cried like a baby after that... don't know why.. Just did.  We watched the fireworks and then to awards… We placed 4^th in 4A and I honestly don’t think anyone was upset about it… We all knew it was our best and that any place a judge could have given us was only to their standard… not ours. 

But all I know is that I loved my senior year show, and I will NEVER forget what I have done on that field the last 4 years, and what my contribution to the band was!!! I LOVE YOU MARCHING LYNX!!!!

Josh and Lexie post together...IN SCHOOL!!! POSTY POSTY!!!!

Dear Blog, Today is FRIDAY, and lexie and I are sitting in Hollywood Vs. History! You see, I love this class very much, and so does lexie (except when her computer FRREEAAKS out)! 

Soooooo.. I thought i would take this chance to blog a bit... not that my day has been very eventful... its only 3rd period!!!  But I can say that this morning was the last early morning band practice on the field!!  Yea I am a little bit excited about it, a bit sad, but yet excited.... For some reason, ending to day only reminds me of starting up again in the fall... at some COLLEGE!!! I am so excited to move on to college.. but I am also sad to see this last year at BV High go by so quickly!

I would also like to take this chance and mention the Sturgeon family (Mr. and Mrs. Sturgeon, and their son Aiden) as they are in China now and are picking Aiden up on 10/10/10!  The are doing well according to their blog... but pease keep them in your prayers as you go about your day!  I think one of the coolest things you could do is adopt a child from another country!  They are amazing teachers and they will be amazing parents!!!

Note from Lexie: I HATE TECHNOLOGY. my computer died 4 times !!! But i got my "last love letter" from eugen. yes spelled without an e. unlike my name. WITH an e at the end :] natasha made me sit by her. she smells like the inside of a bottle of perfume. i can't breeeeathe. back to joshy now !!! ok. almost done. my chair is missing a wheel ??? crazy stuff maynnne. yes. mayne. i am thug. peace out home grease. thats weird.

Well class is almost finished so i should probably start on my assignment!!!! haha bye bye

The Perfect Cup, School, and Tressa... lol

So, you know when you start out your day, and you wake up perfecty happy and then it goes to crap... well it's one of thoes days!!!  I woke up at 5:45 like usual and did my early morning routine.  Then I got in my car and made my way to early morning band practice.  When I get there, I recieve a phone call from both Melissa and Cole saying that they are both going back home to grab something.  Left alone, I came to the conclusion that I needed to set up anyway.  Soooo. I put all the stuff on the cart, pull it to the band field (that is all the way on the other side of the parking lot), and then start to unload it.  The two biggest podiums set up, they both wander onto the field with Alaina... AHHHHH!!! I was just frustrated and cold... but at the end of practice, I just wanted to get out of there and blow a bit of steam!  Then in school.... I completly F-Up my solos in band, probably FAILED my Gov. test... you know it probably just seems wierd to be writing all of this... but O WELL!  Well I guess I will tell you the rest of my day.. I AM SITTING AT THE PERFECT CUP WITH TRESSA!!! haha... Goodness, I love my dear friend Tressa!!!!! Like some person said yesterday (as tressa and i think hard about who it actually was), "I would probably laugh 100 Million times less if she wasn't around..." Which is so true!!!!  And you know what makes it better... We were partners for Royalty!!! BOO-YAA!!!

Well now I need to go to make my way to play practice.. BLAH!!!! bye bye!

Hey guys!!!!! I am actually really excited, but kinda nervous about this lol.  I see everyone starting up blogs and you know what, I said to myself... why not!  So tonight at 10:00 PM I decided to make a blog, and start it up.. which for the first post, probably isn't that exciting.. haha but o well!!!!!
